Since 2021, I have been the Editor-At-Large for Don’t Delete Art, an international project drawing attention to the damage done when art is censored in online environments. We are a collaboration of artist-activists and human rights organizations advocating for greater protection of artistic expression across platforms.
In my role as Editor-At-Large for DDA, I am proud to represent our efforts at global digital rights, human rights, and art events. I also write our monthly newsletter, maintain our public communication, design visual campaigns and infographics, and defend artists against the censorship of their art online.
Here are some of the particulars:
Campaign Leadership:
Spearheading advocacy efforts for artistic freedom in the digital age, collaborating with artists, activists, and key partners such as Freemuse, National Coalition Against Censorship (NCAC), and Artists at Risk Connection (ARC).
Campaign Design, Content Creation & Outreach:
Developing, designing, disseminating, and updating content (social media, newsletter, website, articles, flyers) to educate on issues of online censorship, digital rights, and artistic expression.
Our DDA Manifesto, launched in 2022, has to date garnered over 2600 signatures from artists, art workers, galleries, institutions, and art lovers around the world.
